Started in 2020, we empower content creators with tools to optimize their media scheduling.
What is a Media Stream Planner?
Media Stream Planner is a server-side application which organizes your pre-recorded video files into a manageable 24/7 video stream and publishes the stream to the different platforms
What are the steps to start using Media Stream Planner application?
- Upload and install the application to the server — almost all the steps are automated.
- Upload your video files to the server, add them to the Media Library, and organize them with categories and tags in the Web interface.
- Start producing your stream using the tag-based schedule and publish it to the endpoints.
Which Operating Systems are supported?
- MSP is shipping with the automated installation scripts for OS:
– Debian 12, 13;
– Ubuntu 22.04 LTS, 24.04 LTS;
– Windows with WSL2 and Ubuntu 22.04 LTS, 24.04 LTS; - Theoretically, the MSP application can run on any OS which supports the required stack of libraries and components. But please consider that the setup process is quite complex, numerous libraries should be installed and compiled in place in order to make it work, and not all the components are stable and in good support for other OS. We will cover more OS in the future and extend the list of the supported environments with Docker.
Media Stream Planner is not an open-source application, but a fully-functional version is free. We will provide a support model with a payment subscription for extended documentation with video guides and best practices on stream producing, extended support and premium features, like automated stream restart on errors, advanced radio- and TV- like formats and others.
